    How to use

    1. 1. Add imagesDrop them on the box or click to choose. You can also paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V. The fast AI removes the background as soon as they are added.
    2. 2. Refine if neededTo keep hair or a body that runs off the edge of the photo, press “Redo in high quality”. The first time, the AI takes a while to load; after that it takes a few seconds per image. Anything still kept or removed by mistake can be fixed with the brush (Erase / Restore) under “Touch up”.
    3. 3. Choose a background and saveKeep it transparent, or use white or any color. Save as PNG, WebP or JPG at the original size.

    What is a transparent PNG?

    A PNG image whose background is transparent. When you place it on slides, a web page or another image, only the shape of the subject shows. WebP can also keep transparency; JPG cannot.

    Tips for a clean cut-out

    • Use a photo where the subject and background have clearly different colors
    • Use a sharp, well-lit photo
    • Subjects that are not cut off by the edge of the photo are easier to recognize
    • For hair and fur, use “Redo in high quality”

    Who is this for?

    Is it free?

    Yes. No watermark and no sign-up, and the image you save is full size. You can add up to 20 images at a time; more at once and saving everything as a ZIP are Premium features.

    Are my images uploaded?

    No. The AI that removes the background is loaded into this page and runs on your device. The image itself never leaves your device.

    What is the difference between fast and high quality?

    When you add an image, a small AI (about 5 MB) cuts it out right away. That is enough for most photos. “Redo in high quality” uses a larger AI (about 220 MB) that keeps hair, thin parts and bodies that run off the edge of the photo more reliably. The first time, the engine that runs the AI (about 22 MB) is loaded as well.

    Can I fix spots the AI got wrong?

    Yes. Press “Touch up” to get a brush. Paint with “Erase” to make an area transparent, or with “Restore” to bring the original photo back. While “Restore” is selected, the removed areas show faintly so you can see where to paint. The brush only changes what is kept; it cannot remove objects from the photo and fill in the gap.

    Can I use the result commercially?

    Yes. Kitbench claims no rights to images you make with this tool, so you can use them for product listings or flyers. Rights to the original photo itself (for example, a photo someone else took) are yours to check.
