Add photos to see the location and camera details inside. Press “Remove hidden info” to take out only the hidden information, with no quality loss.

“Remove all” still keeps the portrait/landscape orientation, so photos don’t end up sideways.

    FAQ

    Who is this for?

Anyone posting photos on social media, marketplaces or blogs who wants to remove details that could reveal where they live. Anyone sharing work photos outside the company who wants to remove the date and device details first.

What can the location in a photo reveal?

Photos taken with a phone can include the latitude and longitude of where they were taken. If you share the photo as it is, that place can be found on a map. Photos may also include the date taken, the phone or camera model, the software used and the owner's name.

How do I remove EXIF data from an image?

Drop your JPG, PNG or WebP photos on the box (up to 20 at once). Choose “Remove all” or “Remove location only” and press “Remove hidden info”. The result is read again to check, then save each photo or press “Save all”.

    Does it reduce the quality?

No. The picture data is not re-encoded; only the hidden information is taken out. What you see is exactly the same as the original.

Will my photo end up sideways?

No. “Remove all” keeps only the orientation information, so portrait photos still show upright.

    What happens to motion photos?

Motion photos (for example on Pixel or Galaxy) have a short video attached after the picture, and it can hold the location. This page removes that extra data too, so the saved photo becomes a normal still photo.
