    FAQ

    Who is this tool for?

It suits marketers and web editors who want to post a page of a report or flyer on social media or a blog, office workers and students who need a PDF page inside slides or another document, anyone whose application form only accepts images, and anyone converting PDFs with client or personal information (the PDF never leaves your device).

    When is it most useful?

For example: sharing a flyer PDF as an image in a chat app or on social media, pulling one page out of a meeting deck to use in a blog post, pasting a chart from a PDF into slides, or exporting pages at 300 dpi before sending them to a print shop as images.

What do I gain from using it?

You can turn PDF pages into images with nothing but your browser, no software to install. You pick only the pages you need, so there are no extra images to delete afterwards. Because the PDF is never uploaded, you can use it for confidential documents too.

    Are my files uploaded?

No. Conversion happens in your browser. The page only loads the PDF reader (pdf.js) from this site; the contents of your PDF are never sent anywhere, so contracts and confidential documents stay on your device.

    JPG or PNG?

JPG (saved at 92% quality) for photo-heavy pages or smaller files. PNG keeps text and lines crisp, so it suits diagrams and screenshots, but PNG files are usually larger.

    Which dpi should I choose?

150 dpi for screens, email and social media, 300 dpi for printing, and 72 dpi when you want the smallest files. Higher dpi looks sharper but makes larger files.
